The name Bar Tack originates from the craft of sewing, where it refers to a specific type of backstitch. This technical detail, though often overlooked, is actually a crucial element ensuring the strength and durability of clothing, equipment, and accessories. Under tension, it effectively prevents tearing and reinforces weak points.
The choice of the name Bar Tack is based on careful consideration. It embodies a set of values found in each of our products. It is simultaneously the element of resistance that prevents the product from breaking, the detail that gives it character, and the symbol of our commitment to sustainability.

Founded by Franck Wallace, former creative director of the snake brand, Bar Tack emerged from the ardent desire to redefine combat sports through products combining innovative design and undeniable quality.
With over 12 years of experience, Franck has played a leading role in the evolution of combat sports and MMA, developing collections for iconic figures such as Wanderlei Silva, Lyoto Machida, Vasyl Lomachenko, Giorgio Petrosyan, as well as for renowned institutions such as the UFC and the WBC.
